Misainzig you are correct, Most of the Galactic Army through episodes IV and V come from a life as an imperial civilian. Very few clones still exist at that point.
Because they had their genetics altered so they would age twice as fast as normal people and some even started going AWOL.They knew how fucked up everything was getting and how little time they really had.

5th poster fails, should be TIE fighters not xwings, unless they are trying to convey an image of the xwings fleeing from the Imperials.
