What Happened To The History On The History Channel?

January 28, 2010 | 4 Comments » | Topics: TV

It’s becoming more and more apperent with each new show released that the History Channel is becoming less focused on history and more focused on inane entertainment value. The stake was driven to the heart when it was announced that Larry The Cable Guy would be hosting a new travelogue show, in which he travels the states in search of “folks with interesting jobs, hobbies and ways of life. Im hoping for a History Channel 2 in the new future….

The History Channel is no longer about history. It’s about reality tv and the few history shows that they do play are covered with bright station logos or advertisements all over the screen which make the programs unwatchable.
