    Perhaps you haven’t checked the standings recently, if my memory is correct Canada has:

    1. the most golds in this winter olympic games (maybe also the mots medals i’m not sure anymore though)
    2. the most gold medals a host country has ever had of the winter olympic games
    3. and finally, last time I checked, tied the record for most gold at the Winter Olympics.

    The canadians have the most gold medals. Being American, I can still say it’s quality over quantity…and the Americans have just amounted quanitity…I rather have most golds like the Canaidans do

    I’m surprised at the responses considering this was posted as a humorous photo, y’know, meant to incite a laugh. Instead this has become somewhat of a competition. :(

    Look, the timestamp says that it was posted on the 23rd, early on in the Olympics when Canada had in fact not won as many medals as it eventually did – yes, Canada eventually did win the most gold medals, but that is besides the point.

    She’s trying to be funny, getting people to lighten up, to ‘LOL’ if you will. It is meant to be humorous and we ought to view it as such. So please, to everyone trying to turn this into something else, just quiet your mouths and lighten up already!!
