    I never understood why gamer chicks feel the need to let everybody know that they play. Seriously, most people out there in the world have come to the realization that there are women who play DnD or WoW or anything of that sort. I happen to be one of those girls, and honestly, its nothing that special. I feel like any other person playing the game when I do. And girls that try to just show off the fact that they play irritates me, they just want attention.

    Alyssa – you evidently know how hard it is for a woman to be known that she’s an actual woman playing in a game like WoW. Most of the time guys will often roll a female blood-elf and will be chastised by others for playing a female character, while a female gamer may play a female character and others will see that female character as a male player. It is a big deal – and I think for women to show that they play these games doesn’t mean they want attention, they just want to be known that they are women playing a game with guys.
