Agreed that most are true failures but some of those are clearly wins including the first one.

I actually think the one with swingers Darth Vader and Boba Fett in a leisure suit is pretty good.

    Agreed.

That one is my favorite. also. Actually, most, if not all, are too funny to really be fails. Lighten up!!

Is that actually George Lucas in the next-to-last photo, or the only example of cosplay success on this page?

Bar a few these are NOT fails!! Seriously! WTF? It’s not like they had a huge budget to play around with. I’d like to see the s0-called “curator” of the internet do a better job!

Thumbs up to the death star for originality!

The Death Star one is only good because of the hopeful look on that guy’s face.

Skinny Jabba the Hutt gets honorable mention.

I think that the S&M Darth Vader might be a fusion of Darth Vader and Lord Humungus, the bondage clad, hockey mask wearing, leader of raiders from Mad Max: The Road Warrior.

I think most of these are epic wins

fyi – The dude dressed as a chick is a Blood Elf at the Blizzcon costume contest, not Star Wars

The Vader in the 5th pic is FAR scarier than the original. I would far rather face off against the original if the Empire’s Theme started playing vs that Vader if Banjo music starts playing.

Darth Vader’s… erm… lightsaber, let’s say lightsaber, could clearly use a little more of the force ๐Ÿ˜‰

Poor R2-D2. In one of these photographs he has been fashioned from a white plastic waste paper bin. I’m not sure John Stears used a domestic waste receptacle as inspiration when designing the cheeky little robot!
