This is wonderful! My brother and I had a duck born with one leg. We named him Pirate Pete. He learned to swim and get around hopping on land. When the other ducks were dressed out for the freezer, Pirate Pete stayed alive. We just had to respect his aattitude and determination. He was still around when I left for college and lived for many years. Sometimes there are just special souls meant to show us how hardships can be overcome!
