Technically an epic is a long narrative poem in elevated style recounting the deeds of a legendary or historical hero (the Iliad and the Odyssey are epics). So none of that is correct.

Still, I think they were trying for “amazing” or something along those lines, not epic. Not to say these pictures aren’t amazing, because they are, I just don’t think they used the correct word the describe them.

“technically” its people like you that makes this world suck way more than it has to. 1. anyone with a 7th grade education knows Homer and the poem definition for epic – not sure why you felt the need to point it out? 2. many/most words have multiple definitions…lets choose, for example…off the top of my head: epic – “heroic; majestic; impressively great” is another definition.

It is also defined as “heroic, majestic, or impressively great” which actually does fit these pictures. Therefore, epic is a correct adjective to be used here.

There are a lot of people with A LOT of issues. Can’t this be exactly what it is? PICTURES. If they are photoshopped or not. They are beautiful, and simply someones art form. Who cares about details. Someone posted these because they are cool to them.

disagree, every picture has it’s own history behind, therefore it’s real life epic.
