This was a little . . Racist and depressing . . . Hurtful to those who grew up with them . . :/
I find it funny and more “real” than the fairy tale world we ruin children with. Why give kids the false ideal that everyone lives “happily ever after” – – Who do you know whose life has turned out that way? When reading fairy tales to my daughters I always ended them with – “And they lived as best they could, loving and forgiving each other until death they did part and enjoying the beauty that they could find in each passing day”.
I like the last part of what you said, there.
Cynicism is blinding.
So we should tell our children that they should pretty much quit whilst they’re ahead because it’s only going to get shittier? The reason this generation of youngsters is so screwed up is because of growing up to fast, you wanna take away the fairy-tales as well?
I know I’m late but why even tell em that bull crap in the first place? If you want kids to have happy little playful, adventurous lives read them Grimms
How is it Racist, it’s showing what would probably have happened afterwards, especially today. The artist that made these was making a specific point about life
so funny and realistic:))
A shame that Pocahontas dies. There is no happy ending for her at all. She dies on a boat back from England.
