1 You need some alone time.

Especially when you’ve been socializing too long, you need to have some alone time (if you just broke it off with someone, they’ll probably tell you not to spend too much time alone—read pieces of unsolicited breakup advice).

You need some alone time.

#2 You get mistaken as cold and snobbish when you’re really just thinking.

You’re just trying to think your answers through—you’re not ignoring or judging them.

#3 You’re wary over your friends inviting more friends.

You really don’t want to say no about inviting more people over, because you don’t want to sound like a party pooper.  Although you might want a little more people to come, it can leave you anxious.

#4 You choose to spend an entire weekend alone even if it means you’re missing out on quality time with friends.

And it feels heavenly!

#5 You think by always staying in, you’re turning into a recluse.

But you can’t help it—you love staying inside!

#6 You have a feeling that since you’re slowly turning into a recluse, you’re going to die alone.

Sigh.

#7 You dread having visitors over.

Because that means you have to always be on.

#8 You find it common that people don’t invite you to events anymore.

All because you keep cancelling plans.  (You get nervous, okay?)

#9 You find that too many social events and too little time to yourself is terrible.

It just doesn’t seem natural to you.

#10 You hate group projects.

So much so that you end up just dividing the work so you can work by yourself.

You hate group projects.

#11 You get stressed when your ride doesn’t want to leave the party yet.

And you feel really distressed because that would mean more small talk and you’re all out of gas!

You get stressed when your ride doesn't want to leave the party yet.

#12 You keep on hearing, “Are you okay?”

Or “Why are you so quiet?”  If you choose to listen or only talk when there is something important to say, it doesn’t make you troubled.

You keep on hearing, Are you okay

#13 Your phone rings and you dread answering it.

Just because you’re not mentally ready to chat with this person.

Your phone rings and you dread answering it.

#14 You feel the pressure from people to act more social.

Whether you like it or not.

You feel the pressure from people to act more social.
