Toco the cat shares a special bond with his baby brother… who just so happens to be a human. Since the moment the baby boy was born, Toco has stood by his friend’s side and seems to act as his guardian angel. As the little boy naps, Toco curls up next to him and occasionally mimics his sleeping position. When the toddler goes to play and adventure around his home, Toco always tags along to keep an eye on things. The best part is that, as the young boy grows up, Toco grows with him and allows their adorable connection to grow stronger.

In times of political crisis, humans aren’t the only ones who suffer. When fleeing from war-torn countries, families struggle to make the difficult trek to safety, let alone stay united with their pets who come along for the journey.
Sadly, this was a case when a family fleeing from Iraq got separated from their adorable cat Kunkush on their journey to the Greek island of Lesbos.
This Turkish Van cat traveled to Lesbos with his family, who were fleeing Iraq. Unfortunately, amid the chaos, Kunkush and his family were separated.
In Honolulu, Hawaii, there’s one cat who doesn’t mind getting wet. In fact, this feline loves the water so much, he’s even taken up surfing!
Kuli, whose name means ‘to look blind’, is an orange and white feline with only one eye – ergo the name. A year ago he was rescued and underwent eye surgery. While recovering from his operation, Kuli took lots of baths, which explains his unusual tolerance for the water!
Now living in a loving home, Kuli spends most of his days going swimming and surfing with his humans Alexandra Gomez and Krista Littleton. A literal catfish, if you will. Head on over to Instagram to see more of Kuli’s adventures in the water.
Nala the cat went out to play in the neighborhood the other day but surprised her human when she came home with a note attached to her
“My girlfriend’s cat came home with this note,” reddit user goldenstate30 said.
Nala is a very social cat. She was out in the neighborhood, doing what she loves to do – meeting the neighbors and sharing a bit of love with the people in the area.
Her human mom was really surprised when she came back with a note attached to her.
The note was written by a neighbor:
“I don’t know who this cat belongs to, but she comes and visits us every few weeks. She’ll meow outside our backdoor until we let her in; she… walks around the house like its hers; waits at the fridge until my husband and I feed her bologna. She doesn’t like soft cat food very much! We look forward to her visits. We lost our 21 year old cat this year.”
Nala has been visiting the family the same year they lost their beloved 21 year old cat.
The determined tabby refused to leave the vets and tried to sneak through the door every time it opened.
A box of kittens was left on the door step of the Mill Roads Vet Clinic, and staff promptly took them in to check their health.
Shared to Imgur, it’s a simple story of a chance encounter with two kittens while one woman was on a hike:
“A few months ago, my friend found a pair of kittens while hiking in the middle of nowhere.”
Rademenesa was diagnosed with an inflamed respiratory tract in 2014, when he was 2 months old. He survived the ordeal and now lives at the animal shelter and keeps other sick animals company at the shelter’s veterinary surgery and tries to nurse them back to health.
Instead of being adopted after his recovery, Rademenes became a mascot to the veterinarians who work at the shelter, which is located in Poland. It is an occupation he is completely suited to.
Reddit user newjhelum posted these photos of Rademenesa (also seen in their Imgur slideshow at bottom of this post) yesterday, and, not surprisingly, images of the compassionate, nurse cat are now going viral and making news.
A cat has made a supermarket his home and refuses to leave even though the staff tries to remove him. He just keeps sauntering back in.
This ginger cat from England has been dubbed the store’s resident cat and has been spotted by shoppers prowling around the store and sitting on a shelf supervising the operation inside the supermarket.
Adam Oliver, a resident who lives near by, has come forward to say that the cat’s name is Olly and he belongs to him. Olly has been regularly appearing in the Sansbury’s supermarket since last November.
“(He) lives close to shop, 6 years old, had him since he was 6 weeks old, name is Olly Oliver and he has a blue brother,” Adam said via twitter.
The kitty comes in, gets removed by security and walks right back in. He seems to be perfectly content with the routine being a habitual feline that he is.
A local resident shared her story on I Love SE4: “I saw this gorgeous cat tonight at Sainsbury and my daughter said that the security is keeping an eye on him … Maybe the security was on a break.”
