March 7, 2011 | No Comments » | Topics: Heartwarming |
I don’t have a kid nor do I see myself having one in the near future, but I do recognize and can see the happiness that having a kid brings. Neverminding the walking up in the middle of the night, the crying, the tantrums and the neverending diaper changing, the sheer joy a child brings and the way it changes your life and the way it changes your persepective is mindblowingly awesome and here’s a beautifully shot video giving a proper nod to the joys of parenting.

Youth

Here’s a pretty damn awesome video some dude put together to celebrate the fondness he has for his youth….something many kids are taking for granted and something many people are regretting having taken it for granted.
This took me straight back to my youth with all my friends riding ramps, surfing, driving around town with aimless abandon, and just having fun. It really put a smile on my face and hopefully it does the same for you.

Here’s a pretty awesome video of some dude dressing up like Santa and randomly giving out presents to people on the streets. Although Christimas has been perverted by big corprorations to beef up 4th quarter profits, I still believe in the spirit of Christmas of giving….giving, not in the sense that the most expensive present determines how much we love one another but giving in the sense of sincerity and love for one another.

Everyone Please Share The Story Of The Christmas Truce Of 1914 In WWI
December 17, 2010 | No Comments » | Topics: Heartwarming, History |
Here’s your heartfelt video of the day regarding the story of the Christmas Truce in WWI in 1914, in which a ceasefire took place along the Western Front.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, many soldiers from both sides – as well as, to a lesser degree, from French units – independently ventured into no man’s land, where they mingled, exchanging food and souvenirs. As well as joint burial ceremonies, several meetings ended in carol-singing, or famously, games of football.
Like a wise old man once said, ‘War Is Over, If You Want It.’
