I just saw Avatar so excuse my belated fanaticism for the movie…

I would also argue that Avatar is a rip-off of FernGully: The Last Rainforest, there are literally bulldozers taking down trees in that cartoon (as in Avatar) and the main character becomes the same size as the rest of the fairies in that epic cartoon-film.
