Kelly Coffield Park - In Living Color

Kelly Coffield Park is an American actress, who is best known for being apart of the 90’s sketch comedy series In Living Color. 

On January 19th, 1962, she was born Kelly Coffield Pecora. She was raised in Des Plaines, Illinois. She is a stage-trained actress but initially only had minor roles until she scored her big break. 

Acting Career

Coffield Park’s first acting credit was for the sports fantasy drama film Field of Dreams, released in 1989.

She played Dee, who is the sister-in-law of the wife of the main character, Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner).

Field of Dreams was a feature film, while Coffield Park’s following acting credit would be for a for-television film titled The Kid Who Loved Christmas. She played a character named Linda Cowley. 

In Living Color

In Living Color was a sketch comedy series aired on Fox from 1990 to 1994. The show was Coffield Park’s big break.

She was an original cast member and the only white female in the cast in season one. Ultimately, Coffield Park would star in four seasons of the show.

She is best known for doing impersonations of famous celebrities like Roseanne Barr, Sam Kinison, Andrew Dice Clay and Sally Struthers.

Equally popular skits include Love Connection with Jim Carrey and The Magenta Thompson Show.

It was also where she would meet her future husband, fellow castmate Steve Park. 

What did she do after In Living Color

After In Living Color, Coffield Park appeared in a couple of films. She had a bit role in the movie, Quiz Show, playing Queens Neighbor and a part in Floundering, in which she played a character named Christi. 

Kelly Coffield Park - Seinfeld

In 1994, Coffield Park was awarded a guest role on Seinfeld. On the television sitcom, she played Noreen for two episodes, “The Pledge Drive” and “The Chinese Woman,” in which main character Elaine Benes regularly sabotaged her relationships.

Coffield Park went on to act in a variety of guest roles for various television series. She was billed in If Not For You as Suzanne, Martin as Miss Lewis, and Tales from the Crypt as a talk show host. 

In 1996, Coffield Park was credited in the film Jerry Maguire, in which she played Jan. After this role, Coffield Park was awarded numerous guest roles on mainstream television shows.

She was the character Barbara on Wings and Barabara Richburg on the Jamie Foxx Show.

Finally, Coffield Park played Sylvia Jennings on 413 Hope St. The television series was an American drama that focused on a New York City crisis center. Coffield Park appeared in ten episodes. 

Kelly Coffield Park - Scary Movie

Her guest roles continued with television series like The Wayans Bros. and Caroline In the City until she won the role of a Teacher in Scary Movie, making it her third major film.

Afterward, Coffield Park was billed in various minor roles for movies like Lucky 13, College Road Trip, and Bride Wars.

Simultaneously, she had bit parts in television series such as, Once and Again, My Wife and Kids, Hope & Faith, Law & Order, 30 Rock, and The Good Wife. 

What is Kelly Coffield Park Doing Now?

Coffield Park most recently appeared in four episodes of the comedy-drama series Kidding, with previous In Living Color castmate Jim Carrey.

Carrey stars in Kidding, and Coffield Park was invited for a guest role, playing Joanne in four episodes in which Carrey had engineered two In Living Color reunions. Another In Living Color castmate, T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh, has also appeared on Kidding with Carrey. 

In addition to on-screen acting, Coffield Park has also been in a play titled Six Feet. She played Debra in the production that depicted the world around us and human relationships. 

Personal Life

In 1999, Coffield Park married fellow In Living Color cast member Steve Park. Park is a comedian and actor.

On December 31st, 2021, the couple celebrated twenty-two years of marriage. Together, they have a son, Owen Park, and a daughter, Eliza Park.
