You may recognize her from The Mighty Ducks and Wet Hot American Summer, but Marguerite Moreau is a popular actress with nearly one hundred titles to her name!
From vampire movies to rom-coms, Moreau’s versatility lends itself well to audiences of all viewing tastes. Let’s investigate her career and discover what she has been up to lately.
Moreau was born in Riverside, California on April 25, 1977 to Steven Charles and Anne Moreau. She attended Vassar College, where she studied political science but continued with her acting ce in movies with The Mighty Ducks.
The Mighty Ducks
The Mighty Ducks franchise, based on California’s Anaheim ducks, is a series of film and television shows about the adventures and friendships of a young hockey team.
Beginning in 1992, the franchise continues to this day in the form of a live-action series sequel.
In the original film, Moreau played Connie—whose last name was also Moreau! Connie was a beloved character that would appear not only in the original but also in its sequel D2 and the third movie D3.
She was the team forward and is known for her welcoming, but steadfast spirit. She was an amazing hockey player and demonstrated how to overcome one’s limitations in order to succeed.
Fans loved Connie’s independence and pride in being the only female player on the Ducks. Moreau took on the challenge of portraying this dynamic role and elevated Connie to a fan-favorite.

Marguerite Moreau has been consistently acting since Mighty Ducks, and viewers will recognize her from a variety of famous films and tv shows.
In 2001, Moreau starred as Katie in the hit comedy Wet Hot American Summer. Fifteen years later, she reprised the role for all 8 episodes of Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.
When the show returned in 2017 as Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, she once again played Katie. Moreau certainly has a knack for bringing lovable characters to life again and again!
In addition to iconic characters in Mighty Ducks and Wet Hot American Summer, Moreau brings depth and emotion to parts in Queen of the Damned, Life as We Know It, Shameless, Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Mad Men, and more.
She even played another character named Katie in 4 episodes of Parenthood!

In 2014, Moreau attended the D2 twenty-year reunion to discuss her experiences and share memories with her co-stars.
Nearly a decade later, she participated in the Mighty Ducks reunion panel at Classic Rewind Weekend to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original film and reunite with her former co-stars.
They talked about some of their favorite moments on the set and told some humorous anecdotes for their fans to enjoy!
What is Marguerite Moreau doing now?
Marguerite returned to The Ducks franchise in 2021 for the Disney+ series, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
Thanks to the show’s returning original cast as well as the warm reception of new characters for fans to love, Game Changers has been a true game changer for the franchise.
Although it has received very positive reviews, it hasn’t yet been renewed for a third season. This series gave Moreau the chance to reprise her role of Connie one more time.
While she only shows up for one episode, viewers learn that she has been very busy since her days whacking a hockey puck around the rink.
Connie has married her former teammate Guy Germaine and become a Minnesota state senator. Hopefully we will see her character return again in the future!
Most recently, Moreau starred in the crime thriller Low Life as well the romantic drama Without War.
She will also be appearing in the upcoming film Feeling Randy, a coming-of-age comedy, which will see her starring alongside familiar faces like Chris Mulkey and Richard Riehle.
Personal Life
Fans of the Mighty Ducks may be surprised to learn that Moreau once dated her castmate, Elden Henson, even though their on-screen characters did not share a romance.
While their relationship did not last, Moreau found happiness with actor Christopher Redman to whom she has been married since 2010.
In 2015, they had a baby boy whom they named Casper Hayes.
