In the midst of an arctic blast, Doom Patrol’s Diane Guerrero posted a series of sexy photos of herself enjoying the sunshine in Columbia over Christmas.
In the pictures she shows off her natural beauty in a two piece bathing suit while she lounges on blankets outside with her dog, Penny.
One of her followers commented “Icon… these words need to be carved into stone somewhere in an art museum.” And many are questioning where they, too, can get one of the rhinestone Penny keychains for themselves.
Some fans point out a new tattoo Guerrero shows off in the second photo. The word “ForEver” written on her bicep.
The photo set garnered over 100,000 likes from her 2.2 million followers and is one of her most interacted with posts of the year. Normally, her grid is made up of silly pictures of her dogs, slices of her life, and red carpet styles.
Diane Guerrero stars in Doom Patrol on HBO Max as “Crazy” Jane, a Metahuman with Dissociative Identity Disorder who created 64 different personalities to cope with the trauma of her father’s abuse.
She was also in the acclaimed Netflix series Orange is the New Black as Maritza Ramos, a young woman convicted of grand theft auto.
She voiced Isabella in the Academy Award winning Disney film Encanto. In an Instagram post from March she shows off her Academy Award ceremony outfit, a stunning black and white gown with black gloves.
Guerrero is set to star in an upcoming biopic about Buddy Holly as his widow Maria Elena Holly, who inherited all of the rights to his music, images, and intellectual property after Holly’s tragic death in 1959.
The film is titled Clear Lake in reference to Clear Lake, Iowa where Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson all passed away after their jet crashed on the way to their next performance. The day of the crash is known as “the day music died.”
Maria Elena Holly is credited as a producer on the film, so there is no doubt Guerrero will give a riveting performance alongside Collin Hanks, Nelly, and Ruairi O’Conner.
There is no release date as of yet, but it is currently in production and expected to be released in late 2023 or early 2024.
Season 4 of Guererro’s show Doom Patrol is currently available for streaming on HBO Max, the first set of episodes will be finished dropping on January 5th, and the remainder of the season will come out sometime in 2023.
