While growing up, Nicolette aspired to become a famous actor. Her parents encouraged her to pursue this dream, and so she worked to join the entertainment industry any way she could.
Nicolette’s first industry gigs were in modeling. Soon after, she would get hired for TV commercials.
It wasn’t until the mid-1980s that she would have her break, however, with roles in The A-Team and the TV series Charles in Charge.

One of the top-rated National Lampoon’s “Vacation” series films, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation featured the Griswold family in yet another wild adventure.
Directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik and written by famed screenwriter and director John Hughes, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation followed Clark Griswold (played by Chevy Chase) and his attempt at achieving a good ol’ family Christmas vacation. Of course, things do not go as planned.
With people arriving early, Clark obsesses over how things are going. Unfortunately, he does not receive an anticipated check, which causes him to freak out and go berserk. The film’s popularity was such that it led to a sequel, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation 2.
In the film, Nicolette Scorsese played the role of Mary, a sexy lingerie saleswoman.
After National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
No doubt due to her good looks and the success of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Nicolette was often typecast in the 1990s. For example, she was in films such as Aspen Extreme and Boxing Helena, the latter of which stirred controversy. She landed the role of “Fantasy Lover/Nurse,” which tells you a good bit about the type of movie it is.
Other roles in the 1990s included a hostess in the short film The Waiter, Suzy in the TV movie Girls in Prison and the TV series Rebel Highway (both 1994), as well as appearances in major TV series, including L.A. Law (1994), ER (1995), and NYPD Blue (1995; 2000).
What Is Nicolette Scorsese Doing Now?
Nicolette Scorsese was fortunate to have had a solid acting breakthrough and career from the late 1980s through the early 1990s. But what has she been doing since then?
It would appear that Nicolette has completely retired from acting since her last appearance (as a “Busty Barmaid”) in NYPD Blue.
It is pure speculation, but perhaps Nicolette had grown weary of being typecast in typical “hot girl” roles.
And while many have wondered if she is related or perhaps formerly married to famed director Martin Scorsese, there is apparently no connection there. (After all, if there were, Nicolette may have had better luck in the acting world.
Very little is known about Nicolette Scorsese’s personal life, although she apparently once dated famous actor Sean Penn, as well as actor and model Antonio Sabato Jr.
Nicolette does not appear to have an Instagram account or a personal website, unlike many other retired actors. This makes it more difficult to know what she has been up to lately, although it is clear that she has been retired from acting for more than twenty years now.
