Ambrosia Kelley is an American actress, who is best known for her role as Nikki Bell in the film Kill Bill: Volume 1.
Kelley was born on October 4, 1995 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is half African American and half Mexican.
Acting Career
She embarked on her entertainment career at a young age. In September 1999, when she was just a month shy of turning four, her Aunt Crystal informed her mother, Annette, and grandmother, Arcy, about an open call by a local agency in their hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Impressed with Ambrosia’s potential, the agency signed her on immediately. The following month, her mother and grandmother made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles to support Ambrosia’s burgeoning career.
In February 2000, Ambrosia achieved a remarkable milestone by booking her very first audition in Hollywood. She secured a role in the TV sitcom “Popular” (1999) on the WB network.
Kill Bill
In 2003, Kelley would land a role that would put her on the map of movie going audiences everywhere. In “Kill Bill: Volume 1,” she portrayed the character Nikki Bell, the daughter of a Vernita Green, who was played by Vivica A. Fox.
Kelley would appear in the scene, often referred to as “The Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves,” which takes place in Vernita Green’s suburban home. The Bride arrives at Vernita’s house to seek revenge for a past incident. They engage in a tense confrontation, where they exchange heated words and engage in a brutal and fast-paced fight. The confrontation ends with a brief truce when Vernita Green’s daughter comes home from school and walks into the house.
After Kill Bill, Kelley would find limited success and would land small roles in tv and movies. In 2007, she would land the role of Regina King’s daugther in the movie This Christmas. Her last acting credit came in 2012, when she had a small appearence in an episode of Nickelodeon’s How to Rock.

After acting Ambrosia Kelley focused her efforts on her singing career. She started a YouTube channel, where she uploaded videos of her performances and videos of her singing songs and covers.
Outisde of her entertainment career, Ambrosia Kelley set out to live a normal life after retiring from acting. She returned to Corpus Christi to attend Carroll High School and was actively involved in various activities, including pole vaulting, track, and cheerleading.
She worked at HEB as a bagger and cashier before starting college at Baylor University. She mentions in a video that her favorite class at Baylor was “The Examined Life,” which explored the emotional, physical, social, and spiritual dimensions of life.
Due to the challenges of balancing work and studies, she decided to come back to Corpus Christi. Her goal at the time was to transfer to a different university, major in psychology, attend medical school, and become a psychiatrist.

Ambrosia has stepped away from the spotlight and is living a normal life outside of acting and singing. She lives in San Antonio, Texas, is married and has one child.
She and her husband both enjoy training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and in 2022 she received her blue belt.
