There truly wasn’t a better time to be alive as a kid than in the 90s. Thanks to our friends at ABC, we were gifted the amazing TGIF lineup, with shows like Step by Step, Boy Meets World, Sister, Sister, and Dinosaurs there for us every week. One series you cannot give enough credit to for helping raise us was the family sitcom Family Matters.
All because of a pair of borrowed glasses from his dad and a guest spot, actor Jaleel White gave us Steve Urkel, and woah, mama, was an iconic character born. Let’s see what Jaleel has been up to since putting Steve’s suspenders away.

Even if you’ve never watched NCIS, if you saw a commercial for it or an ad popped up while scrolling through Netflix, you would recognize the punky, alternative woman in the lab coat at first sight.

Two and a Half Men was the Charlie Sheen-led comedy in the 2000s you watched if you wanted raunchy comedy mixed with occasional touching father-son moments. It’s also where you went if you wanted to see a never-ending revolving door of gorgeous actresses that played out as Charlie’s conquests.

The 2000s gave us some of the best comedy television series, and Two and a Half Men delivered. Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer made us laugh every week, and even after the little shuffle of Charlie for Walden, the show continued to deliver solid ratings.
With a revolving door of female conquests for Sheen’s Charlie, few women made it past an episode or two.But not Melanie Lynskey. While her character Rose may have started as a one-time deal turned Harper stalker, Melanie took the role further, and her time on the series gave us something to look forward to every episode she was in.
Let’s see how Melanie has fared since her stalker days ended.

When we hear someone talking about the hit series Family Matters, we immediately start quoting Steven Urkel like we just wanted the show yesterday. Everyone could name Steve or the object of his love, Laura, or the older brother Eddie.
But there was one character that sort of disappeared after the first few seasons. If you watched the whole series, you may have remembered that Laura had a little sister that magically vanished after a bit. That sister was played by actress Jaimee Foxworth. Let’s see if she disappeared from acting as her character did in the show.

Not many shows can say they lasted a decade and over 200 episodes, but the TV adaption of the book Little House on the Prairie is one of them. The American drama about Midwest life in the late 1800s was loved by audiences, so much so that three TV movies followed in later years. The show had star power with old pros Michael Landon, Melissa Gilbert, and Karen Grassle.
The show had plenty of child actors on board, and newcomer Matthew Labyorteaux was one to watch. Playing one of the children on the hit show must have been a dream come true for the kid, but his time on the prairie was done before he was even twenty years old. Let’s see what Matthew has been doing since his time in the old Midwest.
You can’t list the best family sitcoms of the 80s and not mention Family Ties. It’s where most of us fell in love with Michael J. Fox for the first time. But in later seasons, there was a character that definitely made us tune in every week. The introduction of actor Scott Valentine in season four was a smart move, and his character helped capture the female demographic.

The 80s was all about the American family sitcom, and one that captured viewers was the award-winning show Silver Spoons. At the heart of the series was the relationship between a child-like father and a mature child, who was played by actor Ricky Schroder.
