What is Leslie Wing Doing Now?
After finishing the High School Musical trilogy, Leslie Wing retired from acting and sought a change of pace. In 1996, she and her husband, Bill Pomeroy, a set designer and builder, relocated to Colorado.
After dedicating time to raise her two daughters, she ventured into the coffee industry in 2005. She became a partner at Starbucks and for nine years, she immersed herself in the world of coffee, managing a Starbucks outlet for five of those years.
From the knowledge she gained at from working at and managing a Starbucks, she would go on to embrace the role of a small business owner and opened a coffee shop named “East Simpson Coffee Co“in Lafayette, Colorado.
Her and her husband renovated the historic building, which had previously been a grocery store, photography studio, and more. The shop offers local food and drinks, with their signature honey latte made from honey harvested from their own backyard bees. Leslie’s vision for the coffee shop is to create a welcoming gathering place for the community, while Bill educates patrons about the importance of honeybees.
