Marliece Andrada is an American model and actress who gained prominence in the 1990s when she portrayed the character of Skylar Bergman on Baywatch.
Andrada was born on August 22, 1972, in Manteca, California, alongside 7 brothers and sisters.
She graduated from Manteca High School and went on to attend California State University, Stanislaus. In 1995, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science.
During this time, she also showcased her talents as a cheerleader for the Oakland Raiders in the NFL, where she became a member of the renowned Raiderettes for the 1995-1996 season.
While still in college, Andrada also worked as an operations supervisor at Union Safe Deposit Bank.
Andrada ventured into the world of game shows by participating as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune in November 1996. She would make a valiant effort on the show, however she would only leave with parting gifts.
Her acting career took flight with her appearance in the Arli$$ episode “Timing is Everything,” where she portrayed the character of a Catalina Tropic Babe.
Her acting pursuits continued to flourish as she secured two un-credited roles in the popular sitcom Home Improvement. In one instance, she appeared as a member of the background audience in the episode titled “Burnin’ Love.” Additionally, she portrayed the character of Helga in another episode called “Totally Tool Time.”
Expanding her repertoire further, Marliece Andrada made an u-ncredited appearance as a Flower Girl in the 1997 superhero film Batman & Robin.
Baywatch
Marliece Andrada appeared on the popular television series “Baywatch” from 1996 to 1998. She joined the show during its eighth season and continued as a cast member until the series concluded with its eleventh season. Marliece portrayed the character of Skylar Bergman.
In an interview with Playboy Magazine, she revealed that, much like Kelly Packard, she had appeared as an extra (un-credited) in the series approximately twenty times, before being asked to be apart of the main cast.
During her time on Baywatch, Marliece Andrada was featured in Playboy magazine in the March 1998 issue and appeared as the Playmate of the Month.
Career After Baywatch
Following her time on “Baywatch,” Marliece Andrada made a appearance in the 1999 romantic comedy “Love Stinks,” starring Bill Bellamy and Tyra Banks. It’s interesting to note that Bill Bellamy had previously appeared as himself in a “Baywatch” episode titled “Beach Blast,” which also featured Jenny McCarthy.
Additionally, Andrada made an appearance in the live-action realm as Agent Xtra, a beautiful spy from the T.T.D.U. (TV Terrorist Defense Unit), in the video game “Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko.”
Her last television appearence came in 2001, when she appeared as one of the interviewees in an episode about Baywatch in the The E! True Hollywood Story series.
Following her appearance on E!, Marliece Andrada made the decision to embark on a new path away from acting. She attended law school at Seton Hall University in New Jersey and passed the New York State Bar Exam in July 2008. She was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 2010.
What is Marliece Andrada Doing Now?
It seems Marliece is no longer practicing law. According to this document, it seems Marliece’s was suspended from practicing law in the state of New York, Per Curiam — Section 468. A Judiciary Law requires every resident and nonresident attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York to file a biennial registration statement with the administrative office of the courts.
Little else is known about Marliece. She has maintained a relatively private life, and there is limited information available about her recent activities. She has no social media profiles and there are no recent interviews.
