When the video game Mortal Kombat came out in 1992, it was an impressive game created by four people with a vision and a dream. There have been dozens of sequels to the original, with the latest being a cell phone version in 2023. But there’s nothing like the first, and due to the craze the game created, a movie soon followed.
If I had a nickel for every video game adaptation that’s been announced in my lifetime I would have an unnecessarily large amount of nickels. It would be like a five-gallon bucket of nickels.
Sandra Hess was born in Zurich, Switzerland, on March 27th, 1968. She is a 5’ 7” (1.7m) actress who has been active in the film and television industry since 1992. She is best known for her roles as Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.

In the late 80s, Lynn "Red" Williams was a well-known football player and American Gladiator. He has been in many commercials, TV shows, and movies since his time on American Gladiators. In the 1990s he even had a part in Mortal Kombat. And he disappeared from public life for some time, at least from the bright public eye that marked his early fame.
